Renewable Energy For Your Business

Chaberton Energy can help your business reduce energy costs, hedge against rising prices, and help you achieve your sustainability goals. Chaberton will perform a complimentary energy analysis and provide you with a breakdown of your projected energy savings from a solar project.

We will find the right solution for you, whether it’s via on-site renewable energy, an off-site installation, the addition of battery storage, or perhaps the development of a full micro-grid for enhanced reliability and/or 24/7 renewable energy. We can deliver clean, renewable energy and savings to you, taking into account your particular needs and resources.

Your free energy analysis will not only include a breakdown of potential savings, it will also include a list of the environmental benefits achieved by using solar energy. This report is designed to maximize support for your sustainability efforts.

We will identify the ideal power solution and provide an option from one of our portfolio projects to best serve your needs.  Your business can then enter a contract to purchase energy credits, which will be sold at a discount, so you achieve Day 1 Savings!

Non-Profits, Schools, & Universities

Non-profit entities can greatly benefit from our renewable energy projects.  Several states have specific programs that are specifically targeted to non-profit organizations. For example, in Maryland, we have deployed projects under the “Aggregate Net Energy Metering” program, which allow non-profit entities to pair multiple accounts with a solar project (on- or off-site). We can incorporate educational components with our projects including access to monitoring the solar facility, educational resources, and in-person educational opportunities. Corporations

Corporations are increasingly moving to net zero operations. How do you achieve that? By purchasing power from one of our installations. Corporations also should ensure that they are truly contributing to adding renewable energy onto the grid, according to the principle of additionality, and are not purely buying certificates from existing operations.  Corporations may want to purchase renewable energy via a Renewable Energy Purchase Agreement (“REPA”) or may elect to own and operate their own installations.  Certain corporations, such as agricultural businesses, can access state programs that can make such an arrangement extremely advantageous. Governments

Many local, regional, and federal governments entities around the country are setting new and stringent renewable energy standards. Our projects can help you fulfill those requirements, while at the same time, providing much needed savings. In a world of tighter budgets, saving money on electricity means that governments can re-deploy their limited resources to community-enhancing programs, whether it’s health, education, or public safety. Several states have specific programs that are particularly beneficial to local governments. Contact us for more information.

Agricultural Businesses

Under the “Aggregate Net Energy Metering” program, Agricultural Businesses can benefit by purchasing discounted electricity from off-site solar energy projects. The energy is cost-effective and price stable as its production is not impacted by significant inflationary forces that result in steep price increases reflected in most industries. We support the agricultural industry as a cornerstone of the Maryland economy and recognize its paramount importance to our food sources. We feel that by pairing sustainable food production and renewable energy, Agricultural Businesses can both lower their energy costs and secure long-term price certainty.
