NOTICE OF 1ST PUBLIC COMMENT HEARING
On December 20, 2024, Chaberton Solar Victoria LLC (“Chaberton” or the “Applicant”) filed an Application (“Application”) for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) to construct a 4.25 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV) facility in Montgomery County, Maryland (the “Project”) pursuant to Md. Public Utilities Article (“PUA”) § 7 207. The Project is proposed as a community solar facility, and is anticipated to be constructed on approximately 25 acres of a 42-acre property at 15220 River Road, Germantown, Maryland (39.0751°N, -77.3165°W) (“Site”). The Site is located near the intersection of River Road and Manor Stone Drive and is currently owned by the Pilkerton Family LLC.
A public comment hearing in the above-entitled matter scheduled for Monday, August 18, 2025 at 6:30 p.m., via virtual meeting platform, concerning Chaberton Solar Victoria Holdings LLC’s application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Maryland Public Service Commission.
