Meet the Flock at Project Catherine

Together with project partner Pivot Energy, we’re inviting you to Project Catherine, a community solar installation in Cooksville, Maryland where a herd of about 100 sheep spend April through October living and grazing right alongside the panels.

The event will include a routine veterinary health check on the flock, working dogs herding the sheep, and an optional guided tour of the community solar project. Please join us to meet the flock, tour the site, and see how solar and agriculture work together on the same land.

The event will feature brief remarks from Teri Rhodes, farmer/owner, Wayside Farms (grazier); Dr. Joanne Thayer (veterinarian); and executives from Pivot Energy and Chaberton Energy.
