NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATION HEARING CONFERENCE

A public comment hearing in the above-entitled matter is scheduled for June 12, 2025 at 6p.m., at the Federalsburg Branch of the Caroline County Library at 123 Morris Avenue in Federalsburg, MD as well as via virtual platform, concerning Chaberton Solar Pahar LLC’s application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Maryland Public Service Commission.

If any member of the public is unable to attend the hearing but would like to participate virtually, you may sign up through the Public Service Commission of Maryland’s (“the Commission”) website https://www.psc.state.md.us/ by Wednesday June 11, 2025. Under the “Featured Topics” section on the right side of the website, take the following steps: click on Public Comment Hearing Signup; click on Case No. 9759; click on June 12, 2025; select 6:00 p.m. and click on “next”; and enter your name and email address and click “Schedule Event.” You will receive a zoom link for the meeting once you have completed the sign-up process.

Anyone wishing to observe the live stream of the hearing may do so via the Public Utility Law Judge Division’s YouTube Channel, https://bit.ly/2X6wLiP. Written comments on the proposed Project may be submitted by June 16th electronically through the Commission’s Public Comment Dropbox, which can be accessed through the Commission’s website at www.psc.state.md.us, or by first-class mail with the Commission’s Chief Clerk, Jamie Bergin, Maryland Public Service Commission, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. All comments must include reference to Case No. 9759.

Pursuant to the Commission’s March 13, 2020 Notice of Waiver and Relaxed Filing Requirements, no paper copies need to be submitted if the filing is public in nature and no more than 25 pages in length. The Commission encourages parties to use the Commission’s “e-file” system for filing.
