NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT HEARING

An evening public comment hearing in the above-entitled matter is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.  at Exploration Commons, Carroll County Public Library, 50 E. Main Street Westminster, MD 21157 via In-Person and virtual platform, concerning Chaberton Solar Pine Rock LLC’s application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Maryland Public Service Commission.  

The hearing will be live streamed and members of the public can participate virtually. Written comments on the proposed Project may be submitted on or before October 21, 2024 electronically through the Commission’s Public Comment Dropbox, which can be accessed through the Commission’s website at www.psc.state.md.us, or by first-class mail with the Commission’s Chief Clerk, Jamie Bergin, Maryland Public Service Commission, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. All comments must include reference to Case No. 9725 

Pursuant to the Commission’s March 13, 2020 Notice of Waiver and Relaxed Filing Requirements, no paper copies need to be submitted if the filing is public in nature and no more than 25 pages in length. The Commission encourages parties to use the Commission’s “e-file” system for filing. Instructions for e-filing are found under the “Tools” section of the Commission’s website under the “Make a Public Comment” tab.
